My name is Rachel! I'm a 30-something mama to two crazy kiddos and one dog. I'm originally from Delaware, but have called North Carolina home since attending Elon University, and my high school sweetheart husband and I have called Charlotte "home" since 2013. I have been immersed in the pregnancy, birth, and postpartum world since 2017 and had two amazing doula-attended births of my own. I decided to take the plunge into doula work in 2021. I've seen firsthand what it's like to have long and difficult labors, challenging physical and/or emotional recoveries in the postpartum period, and just about every breastfeeding struggle in the book. It is my hope that the skills I've learned in finding good help and working to identify solutions that aid both Mama AND Baby in equal measure can help other families.
